Our team is at the core of the organization. It is thanks to the dedication and efforts of each team member that Les Scientifines has accomplished its work with young people for so many years by being involved in the promotion of STEM, in the cause of preventing school drop out, as well as in various community activities. Our staff is mainly composed of instructors with varied and complementary expertise and profiles in science, education and social work:

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for the strategic management of the organization. It approves General Rules, strategic directions, the annual action plan and the budget, while overseeing that the direction follows through. The Board ensures that the day-to-day management of the organization is carried out with effectiveness and efficiency.

As prescribed by our General Rules, the Board must meet at least seven times during the year and hold an annual general meeting. A written report is expected for each of these meetings in order to follow up on the decisions made. In addition, three sub committees are involved in decision-making related to funding, human resources management and communications.

In accordance with the organization’s General Rules, the Board of Directors is comprised of nine members in addition to the Executive Director, who is an ex-officio member. For the year 2019-2020, the members of the Board of Directors are:
